It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Belva Jean Choneska (Mescalero, New Mexico), who passed away on October 26, 2018, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Rocklyn Choneska; her children, Lambert Choneska, Amos Choneska and Paul Choneska; her grandson Rocky Choneska; and her siblings, Leonard Kanesewah III, Fred Kanesewah, Rudene Zumwalt, Pansy Ahidley, Cheryl Rice, Beverly Kanesewa, Joy Wyatt, Mary Lou Kanesewah, Ida Kanesewah, Helen Kanesewah and Brenda Kanewewah. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
