With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita Woods of Melrose, New Mexico, who passed away on December 18, 2024 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Skeen and Wilma Skeen; her husband J. R. Woods; her children, Charlie, Harvey, Linda and Wanda; and her grandchildren, Korylinn, Jake and Josh.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Morrill and Steve Woods; and her sister Doris. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church of Melrose (202 E Avenue A, Melrose, NM 88124). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melrose Cemetery.
