Ruth Louise Minton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2023, at the age of 95, Ruth Louise Minton of Lovington, New Mexico, born in Houston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Klondyke Anson Applegate and Alice Wilhemina Applegate (Petrich); and her sister Doris. She is survived by: her children, David Loyd Minton (Pauline Minton) of Lovington, NM and Rebecca Lee Minton of Farmington, NM; her grandchildren, Melissa White (Greg White) of Lovington, NM and Mike Minton (Jennifer) of Santa Fe, NM; and her half-sister Shirley Johnson of San Antonio, TX.. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame.
