She was predeceased by: her grandmother Ruth O'Rear (Jones); her parents, D. I. Jones and Rowena Inez Orton (Miller); her husband David Houston "Mix" O'Rear; and her siblings, H. L. and Billye Ree Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Richard G. O'Rear (Ruby) of Rio Rancho, NM, Dale Wayne O'Rear (Mary Jayne) of Carlsbad and Carolyn Stroble (Russ) of Carlsbad; her grandchildren, Bobbi Settle (Chase), Tara Walls (Chace), Matthew Stroble and Brandi Jacob; and her great grandchildren, Auston, Addison and Miribella.
