He was predeceased by: his parents, Yancie Newt Campbell and Ruffie Mae McGaha Campbell; his wife Barbara Lee Campbell; his son Marvin Gene Campbell Jr.; his siblings, Geneva Gable, Mary Ruth Pope and Deen Campbell; and his granddaughter Jill Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Arvel (Buzz), Joyce Connolly and Edie Strickland; and his grandchildren, Jimmy (Brandy), Lisa Chavez (Scotty), Jessica Copper (Bryan), Jeff Connolly, Valerie Strickland, Chance Strickland and Ira Lee Strickland (Katie). He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
