It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Brooks (Lovington, New Mexico), born in Grand Saline, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Selma Buchanan (Davis); her husband Roy Brooks; her brother Larry Buchanan; her parents-in-law, Martha Brooks and Johnnie Brooks; and her brother-in-law Scott Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Reggie Brooks (Trina) of Dexter and Shaye Stikeleather (Hal) of Ft. Worth; her siblings, Marlin Buchanan (Joan) of El Paso and Janis Miller (Harold) of Plainview; her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Buchanan of Portales, Don Brooks (Glenda) of Kemp, TX and Jose Acosta of Lovington, NM; her grandchildren, Cole Brooks, Kade Brooks, Kylie Allen, Kelsey Cundiff, Suzanna Kopacki and Sterling Barnett; and her great grandchildren, Rylee, Weston, Kyler, Quinton, Cameron, Kenneth, Eli, Charlie, Cassidy and Julia.
