He is survived by: his former spouse Wynell Lee; his stepdaughter Shelia Neil Chisum; his wife Laverne McLaurin; his children, Kimberly Kaye Gilliam and Waldo McLaurin III; his grandchildren, Billy Bell Jr., Brandon Bell, Derek Miller, Kendra Stewart, Krysta Chisum, Kasey Chisum, Kenzi Smith, Kelsey Bennett, Tara Cole, Ky Gilliam, Lacy McLaurin, Sarah McLaurin and Kristen Quiroz; and his sisters, Wanda Young, Betty Chisum, Lucille Chisum and Peggy Chisum. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
