He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Gonzalez and Lucia Gonzalez (Carrasco); his wife Paula Gonzalez; his daughter Emma Gonzalez; and his siblings, Luz Salazar, Maria of Jesus Gonzalez, Manuela Gonzalez, Rosario Gonzalez, Monica Hernandez and Alejo Gonzalez.

He is survived by: his children, Juan Daniel Gonzalez (Maria) of Lovington, Ruben Gonzalez (Mari) of Lovington, Rosalinda Trevizo of El Paso, TX, Hilda (Daniel Marquez) of Lovington, Mari Gonzalez-Proctor, Deron Proctor of Midland and Irene (Marcos) of Lovington; and his siblings, Leon Gonzalez, Margarita Chavez, Tela Urias and Teresa Gonzalez. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
