He was predeceased by: his parents, Rey Tarango and Ramona Tarango; and his brothers, Socorro Tarango and Tele Tarango. He is survived by: his wife Maria Elena Tarango; his child Marisel Rivera of Sierra Blanca; and his siblings, Pioquinto Tarango of San Elizario and Ruperta Tarango of San Elizario. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
