She was predeceased by: her parents, Hermeregildo Cabello and Josefita Cabello; her siblings, Rosendo, Cruz, Alfaro, Luis, Antonio Cabello and Antonia Estrada; and her granddaughter Crystal Marie Melendez.
She is survived by: her husband Alfredo Melendez; her children, Maria Dorado (José), Alfredo Meléndez (Elodia) and David Meléndez; her grandchildren, Mónica Morgan (Josh), Anissa Meléndez, Abby Thomason (Joe), Deanna (Jeff DeKeyser), Matthew Melendez and Kristen Melendez; her great grandchildren, Chloe Thomas (Austin), Alison Dixon, Cooper Keas, Ryan Thomason, Emma, Olivia DeKeyser and Jonah Morgan; her great great grandchild Levi Thomas; and her brothers, Narciso and Javier Cabello.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (1301 N 9th St, Lovington, NM 88260). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lovington Cemetery (600 W Gum Ave, Lovington, NM 88260).
