It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Stewart of Lovington, New Mexico, born in Snyder, Texas, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Stewart and Oleta Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Fry; his daughter Kelly Rich (Charley); his grandchildren, Harley Rich, Jacklynne Crowley, Tianna Stewart and Jacob Rich; and his siblings, Wanda Kenyon and J. C. Stewart. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
