She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hocutt and Era Hocutt; her siblings, Faye, Beulah, Irene and William; and her grandson Joshua Owens.
She is survived by: her former husband Earl Francis Newbanks; her spouse Merritt Thomas Davis (T.); and her children, Richard (Sharon) of Diboll, Roger Davis (Becky) of Lovington and Dawna Hancock (Robert) of Bismarck. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: and 16 great grandchildren.
