He was predeceased by: his parents, Catarino Soto and Juana Soto; his sons, Jimmy Soto and David Soto; and his siblings, Ninfa Quiroz and Rafael Soto.
He is survived by: his wife Antonia "Toni" Soto of Lovington; his siblings, Ruben Soto (Melva) of Lovington, Rosalinda (Juan Marquez) of Lovington, Hilda (Manuel Rios) of Lovington and Elida Valencia of Lovington; his daughters-in-law, Bernice Soto of Espanola, NM and Monica Soto of Phoenix, AZ; his grandsons, Aaron Soto of Espanola, NM, Julian Soto of Espanola, NM and Jimmy Soto Jr. of Espanola, NM; and his great grandchildren, Adyian Soto, Adrian Soto and Uggie.
