It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Joe Rice of Lovington, New Mexico, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on January 18, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Rice and Mary Rice (Taurner); his wife Jeanette Middleton Rice; his children, Michael Rice and Lori Johnson; and his brother Ralph Rice.

He is survived by: his daughters, Pat Rice and Suzanne Norris; and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Michael, Carolyn, Kelli, Bobby, Samantha, Josh, Lorina, Mesina and Reja. He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
