He was predeceased by: his parents, Bates Lawson and Hazel Lawson; his siblings, Rose Marie Lawson, Peggy Clayton, Kenneth Lawson, Larry Lawson and Robert "Preacher" Lawson; and his great grandchild Julia Jensen.
He is survived by: his uncle Sam; his children, Diana Leigh and Richard Brent; his wife Lela; his children, Diana Jensen (Steve) of Midland, TX and Brent Lawson (Jennifer); his grandchild Daryl Jensen (Amber); his great grandchildren, Lillian, Benjamin, Shelli Schultz (Michael) of Ft and Katie Jaffe (Jordan); his sister Mary Lou Vinson of Eunice, NM.; and also, Jenny, Juliet, Jordy of Austin, TX, Courtney Warren (Cris), Jude of Bakersfield, CA and Luke Lawson (Sophie) of New York City, NY.. He is also survived by the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
