He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Gomez and Urbana Hinojosa; his siblings, April Bartholic, Cruz Miramontes and Fernando Gomez; his son-in-law Aldo Porraz; and his mother-in-law Carmen Rivera.
He is survived by: his wife Alicia Bartholic; his children, Maria Bartholic, Blanca (Frankie Castillo), Augustin Bartholic Jr. (Joanna) of Lovington and Miguel Bartholic (Valentina) of Lovington; and his siblings, Antonio Gomez, Joe Abbett, Juan Rios, Tim Abbett, Carmen Gomez, Lety Rios and Yolanda Rios. He is also survived by brothers and sisters; ten grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
