He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon R. Olivas and Epifania Olivas (Zuniga); his siblings, Socorro, Amalia Olivas and Manuela Lira; his niece Morelia Olivas; and his great-nephews, Agustin, Izeah and Diego Bustamante.
He is survived by: his siblings, Santana (Javier Olivas), Juan Ramon Olivas (Socorro Olivas), Hector Olivas of Carlsbad, NM, Guillermina Porras (Auden) of Presidio, TX, Petra Olivas of Carlsbad, NM and Nora Olivas of Acuna, Mexico. He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews, 63 great-nieces and nephews and 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
