He is survived by: his wife Elodia; his children, Virginia Chavez (late Harvey), Velma Hernandez (Varo), Ray Gonzalez (Lisa), Roland Gonzalez (Sulema) and Vivian Briones (Eric); and his siblings, Rodrigo Gonzalez (Quate), Anita Castaneda, Armida Villanueva and Alicia Gonzalez (Licha). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
