She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Valdez and Selsa Salcido Valdez; and her siblings, Rodolfo, Rafael, Enrique, Merejildo, Fidel, Mike Valdez and Herminia Dutchover.
She is survived by: her husband Domingo; her children, Rey V. Jr (Isabel Armendarez) of Loving, Domingo, Jr. (Erin Armendarez) of Carlsbad, Elva Armendarez of Albuquerque, NM, Terry (Rudy Carrasco) of Carlsbad and Alice (Joe Ramirez) of Carlsbad; and her sister Amelia Franco of Loving. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
