It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sisto Chavez (Los Lunas, New Mexico), who passed away on December 7, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Chavez and Mary Eugenia Jaramillo Chavez; and his siblings, Juan, Larry, Eloy and Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Gallegos Chavez; his children, Liz Sevin (Jon), Andrew (Bernice Chavez) and Yvonne (Johnny); and his sisters, Eva Bently, Amy (Joe Tinoco) and Cecilia Shaffer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
