He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa; his grandson Phillip Vigil; his siblings, Arlen, Ronnie, Kenneth and Bonnie Smith; his parents, Fred and Winifred; his mother-in-law Betty Wood; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Dewalt and Tom Higgins (Jeanene).
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Hofheinz, Chris Hofheins, Elizabeth Sambrano (Joe) and Andrew Hofheins (Lori); his grandchildren, Lauren (Joel), Theresa (Jonathan), Julia (Rudy), Christopher, Carlos (Erica), Shianne, Joshua and Katelynn (Noah); his great grandchildren, Simara, Shayla, Alyssa, Kirsten, Michael, Baileyann, Aaliyah, Phillip, Aubree and Ariana; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth McDonald.
