It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nicholas A Montano of Los Lunas, New Mexico, born in Belen, New Mexico, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arturo W. Montano and Lola Montano; his adoptive parents, Estanislada Grigsby and Hershel Grigsby; his son Nicholas A. Montano Jr.; his brothers, Paul and Livy Montano; and his grandson Kenny Cipolla.
He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Montano; his children, Annette RoblesMontano and Matthew Benavidez; his stepchildren, Eddie, Paul Rodriguez and Theresa Rodrieguez; his sisters, Veronica Chavez, Alice Gabaldon and Rosemary Marquez; and his grandchildren, Jheremy Grigsby of Nicholas, A. J, Vincent Cipolla, Andres Montano, Gabrielle Yanez and Nicole Montano. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the San Clemente Catholic Church (244 Luna Ave SE, Los Lunas, NM 87031). A rosary was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:30 PM at the Our Lady of Belen Cemetery (101 N 10th St, Belen, NM 87002).
