With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Cowie Mikita (Los Lunas, New Mexico), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Franklin; his children, Mikie and Kimie; his grandchildren, Katie, Alyssa Blythe (Jeremy) and Mikey; his great grandchild Katarina; and his brother Dave Mikita (Nancy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
