He is survived by: his wife Reyes; his children, Felicia Wright (Jim), Veronica "Ronnie" Steltzer (Guy) and Vincent Smith; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Covert, Dustin Allen, Amanda Graack (Henry) and Cassidy Steltzer.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to Fisher House Foundation at fisherhouse.org.
