She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruben Orona and Sally Orona; her children, Jeremy and Patricia; her grandchildren, Nicholas Diaz, Kianna, Adrian and Leah Tafoya; her husband Xavier Diaz; her sisters, Alice Orona and Eloise Orona; her sister-in-law Annie Saiz; and her friend Sally Provencio. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
