She was predeceased by: her parents, Celedon Chavez and Elena Chavez; her sisters, Ramona Montoya, Rosie Hurbina and MaryLou Martinez; and her grandsons, Anthony Chavez, Joseph Brandt, Gabriel Salazar and Wayne Salazar.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Cathy), Elaine Garcia, Yvonne Jones (Keith Jones), Celedon (Deborah) and Roseanne Romero (Severo Romero); her sister Dolores Gabaldon; and her sister-in-law Betty Spangler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7 Church Loop, Tome, NM 87060). A rosary will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery (118A La Ladera Rd, Los Lunas, NM 87031).
