It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Lucero (Los Lunas, New Mexico), who passed away on April 2, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Bernadette "Ninnie" Lucero; his parents, Quirino Lucero and Alberta Lucero; and his siblings, Albert Lucero, Helen Sanchez and Frances Vela.
He is survived by: his daughters, Monica Martinez, Victoria Pena (Kenneth) and Alberta Barba (Julian); his sisters, Mary Jaramillo, Nora Lucero and Geneva Flores (Paul); his brother-in-law Manuel Vela; and his niece Nancy. He is also survived by grandchildren, 20 loving great-grandchildren.
