Gerald D. Chavez Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2021, at the age of 77, Gerald D. Chavez of Los Lunas, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Chavez; his parents, Polidor Chavez and Sarafina Chavez; and his brother Ernie Chavez. He is survived by: his children, Clarissa Chavez-Rivera (Victor Rivera) and Gerald "Chopper" Chavez Jr.; his grandsons, John Rivera (Natalia Rivera) and Jake Rivera; his great grandchild Emilia Ava Rivera; and his siblings, Pete Chavez, Pila Marquez (Manuel), Roberta Archuleta, Ambrose Chavez (Mildred), Ruben Chavez (Eileen) and Cordy Chavez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Life with Parkinson's was his biggest struggle.
