She was predeceased by: her parents, Willian Edgar and Sara Jane Cardwell; and her siblings, William Edgar Cardwell Jr., Priscilla Frances Cardwell and Aaron Nash Cardwell.

She is survived by: her brother Wallace Bruce Cardwell (Charolette); her children, Cynthia Ann Knight (Darwin), Louis Stephen Thacker (Donna), Edgar Allen Thacker and Genia Marie Gevelhoff (Karl); her grandchildren, Candice Lynn Demers (James), Shawna Marie Saavedra (Rich), Victoria Thacker, Zachary Thacker, Marissa Westgate and Emma Gevelhoff; and her great grandchildren, Camriel Leara Demers, Derek James Demers, Breein Ross Demers and Logan Jesse Ross Carrillo. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great, great nieces and nephews.
