He was predeceased by: his parents, Mickey Best and Elizabeth Cook; his stepfather Peter Cook; and his brother Ben Best. He is survived by: his wife Claudia; his son Joshua (Catherine); his sister Kathy Gillispie (Billy); and his granddaughters, Dominique and Nicole. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
