He was predeceased by: his son Dion Laureta; and his parents, Estanislow and Aurora. He is survived by: his wife Phillis Laureta; his son Ryan Laureta; his grandchildren, Iesha Laureta and Amori Sanchez; his siblings, Roy, George, Sam, Alice, Esther and Lori; and his foster daughter Patsy Gomez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
