It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Demecio Perea of Los Lunas, New Mexico, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Romolo Perea and Frances Perea (Sena); his wife Lucy; and his grandchildren, Lisa and Dominic.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne and Peg; his sister Lucy; and his grandchildren, Josh (Elaine), Jacob (Reina) and Norah (Adam). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Sierra Springs Assisted Living (503 Los Lentes Rd NE, Los Lunas, NM 87031).
