He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Sapien and Rose S. Sapien; his brother Ramon Sapien Jr; his parents-in-law, Alvado Rivera and Charlotte Rivera; his nieces, Lizzy Sapien and Christina Sapien; and his brother-in-law Raul Rivera.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny Sapien of Los Lunas and Johnny Sapien (Tera) of Los Lunas; his significant other Maria Rivera; his grandchildren, Danny Boy, Larissa and Lilly; and his brother-in-law Ruben Abeyta. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
