He is survived by: his children, Harry Maes, Betty Jacobs, Juanita Lopez (Joey), Joseph Maes, Ron Maes (Carmela) and Pauline Eufemia Bruskas (Larry); his niece Bernadette Wiggins (Benito); his grandsons, Michael Wuttke, Carlos Wuttke, Christopher Aragon, JoeCruz Maes, Marvin Maes, Nathan Maes, Isaac Maes and Joshua Maes; and also Josiah Aragon-Wiggins. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 9 grandchildren-in-law; 32 great grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren-in-law; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
