She was predeceased by: her son Gilberto; her parents, Severo and Francisca; and her siblings, Severo Garza, Ferrera Garza, Maria Garza and Yolanda Ramirez.
She is survived by: her husband Gilberto F Pena; her children, Velma Carerra, Yolonda Mendragon Raul Pena (Paul) and Michelle Rodriguez Loisa (Daniel); and her siblings, Elida Salaz and Mario Garza. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the San Clemente Catholic Church (244 Luna Ave SE, Los Lunas, NM 87031). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens (101 N 10th St, Belen, NM 87002).
