He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Cres Garcia and Angelina Mary Padilla. He is survived by: his son Andy Arthur Garcia Jr. (Monique Garcia); his sisters, Mary Penn (Juan Penn), Michelle Garcia (Joshua Garcia) and Elizabeth Kirkman (Chris Kirkman); his niece Jaclyn Ulibarri; his nephews, Johnathan Lucero, Dominic Penn, Seth Penn, Brandon Irving, Brian Irving and Jaden Stuart; and his granddaughters, Analycia Garcia and Alexis Garcia.
