He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Sr. Perea and Mela Otero Perea; his brother Michael Perea; his grandparents, Mercesdes Perea, Rumaldo and Louisa Otero; and his brother-in-law Pat A. Jojola.
He is survived by: his son Dominic Perea; his granddaughters, Chelsea Bjerga, Havin Perea, Jaelyn Perea, Oakley and Aksel Bjerga; his siblings, Tranquilino, Ruben (Renee), Johnny, Leonard (Betty), Ofelia Diaz (Johnny) and Catherine Jojola; and his nephew Rumaldo Perea. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
