He is survived by: his wife Flora Otero; his children, Carmen Daniels (Randy), Daniel Otero, Patrick Otero (Esther) and Dominic Otero; his grandchildren, Jenifer Daniels-Knuuti (Robert) and Jarod Daniels; his stepgrandchildren, Fabian, Leon, Tiffany, Adrian, Isaiah, Eli, Mia and Max; and his siblings-in-law, Susie Otero, Inez Otero, Lucy Diaz, Candelaria Chavez and Nestor Cordova.
