It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Ann Wilson in Los Alamos, New Mexico, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonny Ingwerson and Darrell Ingwerson of Gering, NE; her grandparents, Valerie and Carl; her significant other Carl Willis Wilson; her in-laws, Rowena and Donald Wilson of Denver, CO; and her cousins, Chris Ewing of Laramie, WY, Vivian Ekberg of Las Cruces, NM and Scott Ekberg of Scottsbluff, NE.
She is survived by: her sisters, Sheryl McClean (Steve) of Mitchell, NE and Diana Deeds (Rick) of Scottsbluff, NE; her daughters, Tennille Womack (Todd) of Alcalde, NM and Stefanie Van Buren (Bryan); and her grandchildren, Kaycee and Kolby Van Buren of Laramie, WY. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (2201 S 132nd St, Omaha, NE 68144).
