He was predeceased by: his sisters, Vivian McCade and Tiffany McCoy; his sisters-in-law, Jessie Lee Peterson, Mary Mason and Patricia Hopkins; and also, Eugene Peterson, Raymond Peterson, Larry Peterson and Jerry Hopkins.

He is survived by: his brother William Dooley; his son Carlton Gerard (Evette); his wife Loretta Smith; his daughter Carla Tafoya (Eddie); his son-in-law Eddie Tafoya; his grandchildren, Dominique Smith-Sugar, DeJahn Tafoya, Koby Luster, Kerry Atkinson, Trinity Smith, DeJa Tafoya, Coco and Tahjma; and his great grandchild Aaliyah. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Any love donations Floyde gave to several charities: Shalom Ministry, Karios, American Kitchen and Operation Blessing.
