He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Reed McLaughlin and Anita Grace Squires McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Linda Bertelson; his children, Michael (Molly Hewitt), Mark (Nella), Heather Corn (Steve), David (Rebecca), Joseph (Anelia) and Bonnie Andersen; and his stepsister Sharon King. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
