She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Diaz and Emilia Torres Diaz; her husband Manuel Gandara; and her siblings, Candido Diaz, Fideles Diaz, Helen Jimenez and Herminia Oku.
She is survived by: her children, Manuel D. Gandara Jr. (Shelly) of Queen Creek, AZ, Miguel Gandara (Lydia) of Houston, TX, Raymond Diaz of Las Cruces, Magdalena Gandara Cordova (William) of Albuquerque, Patricia Gandara of Lordsburg, Yolanda Gandara Alaniz of Sahuarita, AZ, Victoria D. Gandara of Albuquerque, Angela D. Gandara (Bettina) of Rio Rancho and Elizabeth D. DeWalt (Michael) of Albuquerque; and her brother Nicholas Diaz (Melinda) of Sahuarita, AZ.. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
