It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Della McKinney (Lordsburg, New Mexico), born in Hurley, New Mexico, who passed away on November 19, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Spurgeon and Juanita Spurgeon. She is survived by: her former husband James Herbert Richardson; her children, James Willis, Nita Faye and Edward Wade; her husband Dan L. McKinney; and her children, Dr. James Richardson (Sheila) of College Station, TX, Nita Cohorn (Larry) of Las Cruces, NM, Dr. Wade Richardson (Jodi) of Las Cruces, NM, Jim McKinney (Elaine) of Las Cruces, NM, Bill McKinney (Jane) of Las Cruces, NM, Dale "Bear" McKinney (late Lucille) and Barbara Streander Longmont (Kim). She is also survived by the 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
