He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Pena Gandara and Virginia Gonzales Gandara. He is survived by: his siblings, Gus Gandara (Pilar) of Las Cruces, NM and Terry Leyva (Manuel) of Tucson Arizona; his children, Robert Gandara (Johni) of Lordsburg, NM and Nicole Gandara (Adrian) of Lordsburg; his grandchildren, Aryn, Tristyn, Taylor, Ashlyn and Ryder; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn and Rhyan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (416 E 2nd St, Lordsburg, NM 88045). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Shakespeare Cemetery.
