He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Pierce and Zilla Pierce (Allsup). He is survived by: his son Walter Pierce Jr. (Mars); his grandchildren, Jesse Pierce (Tayelor), Layla Pierce and Caleb Pierce; his nephew Leo Lovett (Nikki); and his sister Linda Lovett. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
