She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfredo Herrera and Adelita Rudolph; her husband Henry Bartone; her siblings, Anna Berry, Helen Roybal, Connie Edwards and Alfred Herrera Jr.; and her son Anthony "Tony" Gomez.

She is survived by: her children, Alfred Gomez (Joann), Sylvia Gomez and Javier Mendez Jr..
