It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reynaldo Miguel Herrera in Las Vegas, New Mexico, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Secundino Herrera and Isidora Herrera; and his sisters, Celia Pinley, Carmen Gordon, Evangeline Perez, Mary Ann Sandoval and Virginia Herrera.
He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Varela; his children, Damien Herrera and Elinda White; his nephew Michael Herrera; his granddaughter Catherine Bates; his siblings, Demacio Herrera, Virginia Lucy Pineda, Teresita Zavala, Dulcinea Herrera and June Ortega; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Jason, Dylon Herrera, Christopher White, Ethan and Laura Eagleton.
In lieu of flowers, any donations made to the family will go towards the purchase of evergreen trees to be planted at Rancho Herrera on May 4, 2024, Rey's birthday.
