It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Moses Marquez of Las Vegas, New Mexico, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Filadelfio Marquez and Mary Marquez (Romo); his brother Martin Marquez; his sister-in-law Evelyn Marquez; his nephew-in-law Rudy Mosley; and his great-niece LoReina Trujillo.
He is survived by: his siblings, Teresa Trujillo (Henry) of Las Vegas, NM, Mona Quintana (Sal) of Lone Tree, CO, Deacon Marvin Marquez (Stella) of Santa Rosa, NM and Matthew Marquez of Las Vegas, NM; and his goddaughter Jeanette Trujillo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (403 Valencia St, Las Vegas, NM 87701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the San Jose Catholic Church (1081 Iglesia Rd, Anton Chico, NM 87711). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery (1081 Iglesia Rd, Anton Chico, NM 87711).
