He was predeceased by: his parents, Severino Garcia and Lucy Garcia; his siblings, Joe, George, Epimenio, Manuel Garcia, Rosa Vialpando (Fred Vialpando), Mabel Brown (Jack Brown) and Maggy Martin; his niece Georgia Reyes; his nephew Clarence Garcia; his sister-in-law Helen Garcia; his stepdaughter Darla; and his wife Clarice M. Garcia.
He is survived by: his son David Garcia (Destiny Garcia); his grandchildren, Emma Rose Garcia, David James Garcia and Adriana Ransby (Reece); his stepdaughters, Lisa Apodaca and Mona Spence; his sisters, Priscilla Martinez and Dolores Mirabal (Phil); and his sisters-in-law, Pearl Garcia and Angie Garcia. He is also survived by many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (403 Valencia St, Las Vegas, NM 87701). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
