He was predeceased by: his parents, Meliton Lujan Sr. and Abenicia Lujan; his son Joseph "Luj" Lujan; his siblings, Meliton Lujan Jr. (Alice), Armando Lujan (Mary Louise), Gene Lujan and Lucy Aragon (Johnny); his mother-in-law Julia Chavez; his sisters-in-law, Josie Sandoval and Florence Chavez; and his godson Rodney Barela.
He is survived by: his nephew Lester Aragon; his wife Jane C. Lujan; his children, Leroy Lujan, Joanne Lujan (Danny Palomino), Raymond Lujan and Joyce Garcia (Martin); his grandchild Soleciana Garcia (Estrella); his brother Dennis Lujan (Mary Jean); his siblings-in-law, Antonia Lujan and Seferino Sandoval; his uncle Albert Espinoza (Dolly); and his godchildren, Rose Lujan, Cathy Lujan, Suzette Archuleta, Christella Chavez, Eugene Martinez Jr., Mary Jo Lujan, Sandra Solis and Veronica Montaño. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.
